Terry Ledden - Founder and Managing Partner

Terry LeddenTerry is Founder and Managing Partner of the sales performance and development firm Sales AboutFace Inc. and Canadian authorized licensee of US based Sandler Training. He and his international team are recognized for delivering serious sales results for the serious and decisive leader. As a professional sales performance consultant, trainer and coach for 20+ years, Terry has dedicated himself to the significant improvement in the long term job performance, sales production and financial success of committed Canadian businesses and sales professionals. As former VP of Chicago based sales training firm Holden International from 1992 to 2001, he has led sales performance change across numerous organizations in the telecom, professional services and manufacturing sectors world-wide. Some of his international clients included EDS, Sprint, Intel, HP, Ernst & Young, CN, Canada Post, Bell Canada, BC Tel, Ameritech, Telecom Ottawa, Toronto Hydro Telecom.

Terry spent the first 15 years of his career in sales, sales management and product marketing in the telecommunications industry where he introduced common sales and sales management processes, standards and strategies across multiple telecom carrier and manufacturer organizations throughout Canada.

He is an associate member of TEC Canada, the pre-eminent peer-to-peer mentoring organization for Canadian business leaders. Terry also serves as Membership Chair on the Leadership Executive  of the Sales Professionals of Ottawa, a forum for Ottawa sales professionals to network, exchange ideas and share best practices.

Witnessing the levels of work stress associated with sales and business and the resulting rate of casualty on people and families, Terry serves on the Board of the Royal Ottawa Hospital Foundation helping to raise awareness and support for the issue of mental health within business and the community at large.

To channel stress in his own life Terry relies on the support of his faith, his family and personal play time pushing the comfort zone on the snow in winter and on the pavement in summer at places like Calabogie Motorsport Park, Mosport and Circuit Mont-Tremblant.

 

Barbara Ariss - Partner and Chief Operating Officer

   Barbara brings to her clients 15+ years of professional customer care, sales and sales management experience within the telecom end-user environment..

Her past experience as a client care professional within the complex business to business telecom systems environment combined with her management background provides her clients with real input into the development of their front line customer support teams.

Barbara's success in outbound telesales and subsequent track record in sales management provide her with the hands-on sales experience our clients appreciate.

 

Leslie Anne (L A)  Palamar - Associate

LA PalamarLA (Leslie Anne) Palamar has been a major force in the hospitality and tourism sector for over 25 years, assisting companies to realize their sales, marketing and human resource potential. Working with some of the most respected hotel brands in the business such as Sheraton and Delta, LA moved into regional sales and marketing in hospitality franchise and management.

Working at a national level with Howard Johnson and Ramada, she attained the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing, before moving into brand management. In 2003, LA formed bte, to provide sales, marketing and training support to the tourism and hospitality industries.

LA brings her former bte training and consulting background as well as her expertise in Sales 2.0 and Social Networking to Sandler in advancing the efficiency and performance of our clients' sales organizations.

LA's community and industry involvement includes volunteering with the World Partnership Golf Tournament, speaking engagements and committee work. She is on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Hospitality Marketing and Sales Executives and the Sales Professionals of Ottawa,  and a member of Ottawa Tourism  and the Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council.

Dave Lebert - Senior Associate

Dave Lebert began his sales career as a sales representative for Canada's leading snack food company, Hostess Frito Lay, in Chatham, Ontario. Over the next 17 years, David was promoted to a number of positions within the organization in the areas of sales, sales management, key account management and sales training.

Throughout his career, David has developed a management style that is consultative and interactive, with a focus on motivating, coaching, training, and recognition for employees.

David is active in the London Ad and Sales Club, the London Chamber of Commerce and is past Vice President of the London Leaders' chapter of the Business Network International. He also currently serves as the Treasurer of the London Education and Training Society.

A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, David is also an avid golfer who enjoys supporting the activities of his three children. David has been active in various communities through extensive coaching of minor league sports and involvement in the Canada Jaycees; currently acting as a Coach and Convenor in West London Hockey System and as a Manager of a London Junior Knights Hockey Team.

Anne MacKeigan - Senior Associate

Anne has been a successful retail entrepreneur, marketer and sales executive for fifteen years. Her experience in sales comes from both sides of the desk. Anne's focus is on Customer Service and she brings a wealth of experience from her retail background.

Anne specializes in teaching the Sandler "Quality Service Program" where she helps companies "Define - Build and Sustain" their customer service departments  for building  long term relationships with their customer base, many of whom have seen a significant increase in customer retention and satisfaction. Anne is an asset to the Sandler Team.

Graham Rawlinson - Senior Associate


Graham began his sales career over twenty five years ago as a sales representative for a Motorola distributor. Two years later he was asked to join a fortune 100 company, General Electric Company Inc. (GEC) in England. Within the first 2 years, Graham was promoted to National Sales Manager were he recruited and trained a national sales team of 14 sales engineers. During the next 3 years, Graham's team developed GEC's market share to become the 2nd largest player in the UK. In 1990, Graham was transferred to Canada, to head up the Canadian division. During the next 5 years, Graham's division increased sales by over 300% and profits over 400%, all this during a recession.

Throughout his career, Graham has developed a management style that is consultative and interactive, with a focus on developing, motivating, coaching and training, for clients and employees alike. With his engineering background, Graham's approach to business development, sales and management is systematic, following principals that work and produce results.

Recognized as one of Ontario's leading sales development experts, Graham is regularly approached to be a keynote speaker at national sales conferences and Chamber of Commerce events. He also hosted the "Today's Sales Meeting Minute" - on NewsTalk 570 AM Radio, a super concentrated selling and management tip each day, in SW Ontario.
